Roster of Headquarters Company - 346th Infantry AEF - 1919
The Headquarters Company of the 346th Infantry, 87th Division of the AEF, had several writers on staff that provided a broad picture of their history with anecdotes and short stories. Rosters of Officers and Enlisted Men are also included for the Headquarters Company.
Machine Gun Company - 346th Infantry, 87th Division AEF - 1919
Trained at Camp Pike, the Machine Gun Company of the 346th Infantry, 87th Division of the AEF, went on to Camp Dix, where after several months were sent to Liverpool on the SS Ceramic. They made their way to Southampton for the trip over to France, landing in Le Havre. Within France, the men of MG Company called Belliant, Chateau Boyer, Saintes, and Camp Montoir "home."
Supply Company - 346th Infantry, 87th Division AEF - 1919
The Supply Company, 346th Infantry trained at Camp Pike, Ark. Most of these men went to Camp Dix, New Jersey and from there to France. At Camp Dix, N. J. the organization included men from New York and New Jersey. The company left the States for overseas duty Aug. 24, 1918.
First Battalion - 346th Infantry, 87th Division AEF - 1919
The First Battalion of the 346th Infantry was comprised of Company A, commanded by Captain C. R. Welborn; Company B, commanded by Captain C. P. Huggins; Company C commanded by Captain J. E. Bramlett; and Company D commanded by Captain E. H. Wooton. This modest chronicle of the birth and achievements of the First Battalion, 346th Infantry was both brief and unassuming.

Company A, 346th Infantry, 87th Division of the American Expenditinary Force was formed on 19 September 1917, trained at Camp Pike, Arkansas and Deployed from Camp Dix to England and France.
Roster of Company "B" - 346th Infantry AEF - 1919
Company B, 346th Infantry, 87th Division of the American Expeditionary Force, Trained at Camp Pike, Arkansas, deployed overseas from Camp Dix to Liverpool on the SS Ceramic, to Southampton to cross the Channel on the SS Yale to Le Havre. Later on to Montoir.

Roster of Company "F" - 346th Infantry AEF - 1919
Trained at Camp Pike, then on to Camp Dix for deployment to France on the SS Zealandia. Spending time in Montils, and Montoir. The Armistice was signed before Company “F” could get the opportunity to show its true worth in the front line trenches.
Roster of Company "G" - 346th Infantry AEF - 1919
Rather than provide a history of their adventure during the Great War, Company "G" leaned towards anecdotal slices of life as soldiers in the American Expeditionary Force. They included correspondence between Companies "G" & "H" and the Mayor of St. Seurin, France, where they were stationed.
Roster of Company "H" - 346th Infantry AEF - 1919
Formed 1 October 1917 at Camp Pike, Arkansas received basic training and left for Camp Dix in June 1918. Left Camp Dix for deployment overseas boarding the HMS Alsatian in NY. Arrived in Liverpool, then on to Winchester and Southampton. Crossed the Channel on the SS Archangel, landing at Le Havre. While in France, called Pons, St. Seurin de Pallene, Montoir, and St. Nazaire home.
Third Battalion - 346th Infantry, 87th Division AEF - 1919
The Third Battalion, 346th Infantry, 87th Division of the AEF, provided a list of officers, companies, and commanders under their organization, and a very entertaining screenplay written my Lt. H. R. Spangler entitled "Third Battalion Officers School."

The 346th Infantry was a component of 173rd Infantry Brigade of the 87th Division.
The 87th Division was made up of National Army drafts from Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. It was organized at Camp Pike, Arkansas. The overseas movement began August 23, and the last units arrived in France September 13, 1918.
Upon arrival in France, the division was turned over to the Service of Supply and ordered to Pons (Charente-Inferieure), where it was broken up and units placed in the intermediate section. The commanding general of this division was Major General Samuel D. Sturgis. The division is popularly known as the "Acorn Division," and the shoulder insignia is a brown acorn on a green circle.
