  • Memory of Boot Camp: CC's SH1 Riley and AMH1 Justice. We had a guy named Shane Webster that transferred from the Army to become a navy seal. The navy in their wisdom put him back through navy boot camp. We were probably the only recruit company singing airborne cadence and to have a recruit graduate march in Grad day wearing airborne ice cream cone medal. I am looking to replace a long lost copy of my yearbook.

  • Memory of Boot Camp: The 5th week "Work Week" I got to be a "bubble head"  we were so happy, if we were not "escorting" recruits who got in trouble we got to sleep under the bunks -- it was dirty and dusty and we didn't care we were just glad to get the extra sleep!

C143 was in Division 5 and our CC (who was awesome) was CPO Weil…..Never forget those days in Orlando. I would pay a nice fee for this copy of “The Rudder”

  • Memory of Boot Camp: I like so many of my naval brothers and sisters am looking for my navy RTC year book from Orlando, FL.  I went there in the year of 1973.  I believe my company was 7063 or 7064.  I am not sure of the company.  However,  there were not too many females there at the time.  Don’t ask me to find names of my boot camp friends because, I as the others did not make any friends nor do I remember their names at the time. I hope you can help me this was the only picture i took with the navy.  Hurricane Katrina took it from me.

  • Memory of Boot Camp: Living in the barracks right next to the gas chamber and getting into trouble the day of the gas chamber....I ended up being one of the last to get out as punishment. The roaches were huge! Washed my money chits during the 1st week which is the bad example used to orient the rest of the recruits once they arrived to complete the company I was assigned to. Would like to obtain this book as we are planning a reunion for our sister company I070 and brother company I069. Many memories, many friends.
