First voyage as Philadelphia, Southampton to New York, August 31, 1901. War Service: Served as a transport for the United States in First World War. Resumed regular service in March 1920. Scrapped in Italy, 1923. Ex-Harrisburg (1919) United States Government, ex-Philadelphia (1917), ex-Paris (1900), ex-Yale (1899), ex-Paris (1898), ex-City of Paris (1893). Sister ship: New York.
