Passenger Information
Passenger Declaration Forms
Red Colored Declaration Forms should be completed by each passenger and returned to Room Stewards or the Purser's Office not later than 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Special Trains to Paris and London
All passengers who wish to proceed with the above, including those already holding Tickets or Orders, are requested to call at the Travel Bureau, Main Deck, as early as possible on Saturday or Sunday.
This is imperative to enable them to obtain seat reservations and (1) Paris Train Stickers; (2) London Train Tags.
Those not travelling by Special Trains should also call at the Travel Bureau for Baggage Stickers (Cher-bourg), Baggage Tags (Southampton) to ensure their Baggage is segregated from the Train Baggage.
To have the necessary trains assembled, it is imperative that all passengers sh9uld have made their requests by noon on Monday, so that the information required can be sent to the Port Offices to ensure sufficient accommodation on the trains being available.
This Is Important: British Customs
To facilitate the landing of passengers at Southampton, arrangements have been made whereby they can pay Customs Duty and Purchase Tax on board during the voyage.
H.M. Customs Officers will be in attendance, as follows, in the Port Garden Lounge (Promenade Deck), for this purpose: Saturday, 2.15 to 5.00 p.m.; Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, between the hours of 9.15 a.m. and Noon; 2.15 and 5.00 p.m. Passengers are advised that the Customs· Officers cannot accept more than £5 in sterling notes unless they have been issued by the Midland Bank on board.
