- Mr. George Blum (1870–1928) American architect who along with his brother, Edward Blum formed a successful architectural firm, George & Edward Blum, in New York City during the early 20th century designing some of New York City's most elegant and creative buildings.
- Mr. Frank G. Carpenter (1855-05-08 to 1924-06-18) Author, photographer, lecturer, collector of photographs. Carpenter was a writer of standard geography textbooks and lecturer on geography, and wrote a series of books called Carpenter's World Travels which were very popular between 1915 and 1930.
- Miss Alice Hamilton (1869-02-27 to 1970-09-22) First woman appointed to the faculty of Harvard University and was a leading expert in the field of occupational health.
- Dr. Albert Ross Hill (1868-10-24 to 1943-05-06) Canadian-born American educator and ninth president of the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. He was also Commissioner of the European Division of the American Red Cross (1921–1923).
- Miss Alice Riggs Hunt (1884-1974) Journalist and Activist. She was an organizer, speaker and writer covering the Women's Suffrage and Current Events surrounding World War I.
- Mrs. Florence Kelley (1859-09-12 to 1932-02-17) Social and political reformer who worked against sweatshops and for the minimum wage, eight-hour workdays, and children's rights. In 1909 Kelley helped create the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
- Mr. Hans Kindler (1892-01-08 to 1949-08-30) Johannes Hendrikus Philip "Hans" Kindler was a Dutch American cellist and conductor who founded the National Symphony Orchestra.
- Miss Mary Rozet Smith (1868-1934) US philanthropist who was one of the trustees and benefactors of Hull House. She was the companion of activist Jane Addams for over thirty years. She was active in several social betterment societies in Chicago at the turn of the 20th century.
- Mr. Sigmund Zeisler (1860-1931) German-Jewish U.S. attorney born in Austria and known for his defense of radicals in Chicago in the 1880s. His wife was the famed concert pianist Fannie Bloomfield Zeisler.
