Vintage menus for the SS Leviathan in the GG Archives collection represent the souvenir breakfast, luncheon, dinner, daily, private party, special occasion, and specialty menus provided to the passengers during their voyage. Many of these souvenir menus have disappeared over the years.

1928-06-10 SS Leviathan Private Dinner Party Menu
Elaborate Private Party Dinner Menu on board the Flagship of the United States Lines, the SS Leviathan. This Sunday Dinner hosted by Mr. S. B. Applebaum featured Filet of Sole and Roast Vermont Turkey with Crème Dame Blanche. This four-page menu was bound by an elegant Red, White and Blue striped and tasseled string.
Our collection contains a sampling of menus initially produced and printed by the steamship lines. They are often used to illustrate family history books for immigrants from this time.
